Skiing is one of my new sports that i like to do. I actually just learned how to ski this past year. My boyfriend, Best friend and her boyfriend all took me skiing towards the last day of the season last year. It was actually a very warm day out so it was kinda of icy and the snow was not very good to start to learn. But I actually didn't do half bad. When i was a freshmen in high school i actually learned how to water ski, so it made it a little easier for me to learn. It has the same concepts as down hill snow skiing. Yet it hurts a lot more to fall on icy snow then on water. I am very excited for it to snow this yea. I am actually looking at getting a job at a ski resort this winter up near my home town.....well I don't like the cold weather but i do love the snow.... I think that is the only thing that i don't like about snow is that it is cold which makes me cold. I think it is very pretty when the snow falls and sticks to the trees.

If you are going to live where it is freezing cold and snowing 75% if the year its nice to do an activity that involves the snow.

I love skiing. Snowboarding on the other hand, I have tried and I just don't get how it's done. I just kept falling on my butt, which I guess your suppose to do in the beginning to stop yourself. However I found skiing to be much more fun, and a lot less painful!

Skiing is fabulous. Unless you ski into a rope...I don't recommend that. At least now I know how to stop.
