racing
You would never believe that one of my favorite things to watch is racing. I like watch races on TV, but the best way to watch them is live. I like dirt racing the best. I cant wait for the summers to come, because that is when dirt season starts. I used to go to Canandaigua Speed way every Saturday night. We would usually get there early so we could cook out. They best part of racing is how fast they go. Dirt racing is so much better than Nascar because there is a lot more action going on. Even though i don't like to see people get hurt, i still like the wrecks. Recently a guy that i went to school with, who happens to race small block engines (Sportsman division) was burned very badly in an accident while he was racing. Yet last weekend i went to Rolling Wheels and watched him do very well. If that had been me I wouldn't have been able to get back into a car after that had happened to me. My next dream is to go to a Nascar race in NC. I also enjoy watching drag races too. Last weekend I also went to the drag strip up in Cicero, Ny. I love watching cars go fast. There you get to see many different things race, and alot of them are soooo fast.

I enjoy watching racing as well - it was something Dad and I did regularly. It is definitely more exciting to see live than broadcast on TV. Mud truck races are probably the most fun to watch - the trucks slip and slide and get stuck going around on the track.
My dad drove stock cars at the local racetrack back in the 1950's. Our family nicknamed him Mario Andretti because he was a fast (but accurate) driver - he even got a speeding ticket when in his 70's. Racing in in my blood as well - I am constantly watching my speedometer because I tend to drive beyond the speed limit without noticing.
